Terms & Conditions

1. The agreement

By creating an account or using My Online Staff ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@myonlinestaff.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page; you'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown exclusive of taxes (VAT, sales tax) which we add where applicable. We may change pricing for new sign-ups at any time, but existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued at our discretion within 14 days of a charge. We typically refund first-time annual subscribers in full if requested within 14 days. Monthly plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled instantly to avoid the next charge.

5. Your content

You own the data you put into My Online Staff. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process it solely to provide the Service to you. We will never sell, share, or use your content for training AI models or for advertising.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use My Online Staff to: break the law, harass or abuse others, send spam, scrape the platform, attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer our software, share workspace credentials with people outside your team, or upload malware. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

7. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but the service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance via email and our status page. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

8. Intellectual property

The My Online Staff name, logo, software, and documentation are our property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our software.

9. Termination

You can close your account anytime from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or pose a risk to other customers, with notice when reasonably possible. Upon termination, your access ends immediately; you have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these terms — for example, if a third party sues us because of content you uploaded that infringes their rights.

12. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of London, UK, unless local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring action in your home jurisdiction. We'll always try to resolve things amicably first — please email support@myonlinestaff.com.
